Good evening ! This is Hirota from CoesamJapan.
In the previous blog, I talked about crushing and the fourth foreign body removal.
Today is the last blog about the manufacturing process.
Today we will be introducing you to crushing and packaging!
"Crushing" means crushing the rosehip fruit into pieces of a size called "quarter cut" or "fine cut"✨
(The photo shows the quarter cut.)
This is a fine cut. The grains are about 2mm.
By the way, rosehip powder is ground in a different machine.
Next, about packaging.
We do this in 20kg increments for bulk orders. (We started using higher vacuum packing 3 years ago.)
For smaller packages, vacuum sealing helps maintain high quality for a long period of time.
Koesamu's rose hips go through many processes to ensure they reach you while maintaining their high quality.
The 2024 rose hip harvest will soon arrive in Japan!
Look forward to it! 😊
